IMiS/mDMS PRIVACY POLICY

IMiS/mDMS Client is a software application for Android and iOS platforms made by Imaging Systems Inc., with the development center in Ljubljana, Slovenia. IMiS/mDMS is a solution to access your HCL Domino applications on your mobile devices and in order to provide this service, we may need to collect and store your personal information. This Privacy Policy provides details on this subject matter.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AND TRANSMITTED

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Certain personal information is provided to us when you contact us via our website contact form, via email, or submit a request via mobile app, which may include your email address, first and last names, phone number, and any other information, you may find relevant to be serviced by our team. We may keep your message and all information included in order to respond to your request. This information may be used to operate and maintain IMiS/mDMS services and all respective functionality and features.

YOUR HCL DOMINO DATA AND IMIS/mDMS SERVICE DATA
IMiS/mDMS is designed to securely transfer data between HCL Domino applications (NSFs) and your mobile device. When you install IMiS/mDMS Client on your mobile device, you give IMiS/mDMS permission to securely access information accessible by your HCL Notes identity for the purpose of display, including information stored locally on your HCL Notes client and any accessible HCL Domino servers (“HCL Domino Data”).

Below is the overview of information collected, stored and transmitted by IMiS/mDMS software.

Your HCL Notes Web username and/or password can be securely stored locally based on your setting in Service Profile Configuration in order to assist your authentication. It is not transmitted anywhere. When authenticated, Service will access data and execute actions based on your requests through your identity. Your credentials are stored in device’s keychain using the latest and strongest encryption standards available to the industry and provided through iOS platform by Apple Inc.

YOUR HCL NOTES DATA IS NEVER STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE. All requests for data are executed in real time and data retrieved from the Service is cached on the device while displaying it and discarded immediately after you move to the next or previous screen.

TESTIMONIALS
We can collect testimonials from public sources to be used on our website. These testimonials may contain personally identifiable information. To request removal of your personal information, contact us at sales@imis.eu.

COMMUNICATIONS
We may use the information we collect or receive to communicate with you directly. For example, we may send you emails with information about software updates, promotions or special offers. We may also track your interaction with links in these messages. We do this to improve our communications and our software. If you prefer to not receive such emails, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the unsubscribe links located at the bottom of each communication or by emailing us at sales@imis.eu.
We may also use information to send service-related emails, such as account verification, feature updates, technical notices. These communications are important and you cannot opt-out.

ANALYTICS FOR WEB AND MOBILE
We may use web and mobile analytics software to measure traffic and usage trends in order to help us better understand the how you use IMiS/mDMS. The web tools collect information sent by your browser, including the pages you visit and other information which can help us improve our website. IMiS/mDMS mobile applications may record information on their usage, such as how often you use the application, the events occurring in application, performance data, and similar. We use this information only to administer, improve, monitor and analyze the use of IMiS/mDMS, and collect no personal identifiable information within such analytics data.

Cookies are small text file that are stored on your computer for record-keeping purposes. Cookies are used on IMiS/mDMS website, but we don’t link the information in those cookies to any personal information you submit. They are used to make it easier for you to navigate through our website and so we can analyze the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Cookies may be used by third parties: we do not have access or control over these cookies, and they are not covered by our Privacy Policy.

YOUR INFORMATION MODIFICATION OR REMOVAL
If your information changes, or if you wish to discontinue use of IMiS/mDMS, you may modify or remove your information by visiting settings within the mobile application.

SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We will never share, rent or sell your information to third parties outside Imaging Systems Inc. without your consent, except as noted below:

Information you share with others: IMiS/mDMS lets you share information with others, for example, through emails. Remember that when you share information via email, the recipient or recipients are responsible for keeping it private and respecting whatever intellectual property you have in that information.
Compliance with the Law: We may disclose your information if we believe it’s necessary in order to comply with the law, such as to comply with a subpoena, regulation or legal request, respond to a government request, to address fraud or security issues, to protect the safety of any person, or to protect our own rights or property.

BUSINESS TRANSFERS
If Imaging Systems Inc. is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The assurances in this Privacy Policy will apply to your information if/when it‘s transferred to a new entity. You will be notified via a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
Anonymized Information: Should we need to share data about our usage with third parties (such as investors or partners), we will aggregate it and strip it of all personally identifiable information.

SECURITY
Security is extremely important to us. We use industry leading security practices to preserve the integrity of all your IMiS/mDMS data. For example, when you transmit your HCL Domino Data, like as sending and receiving emails, Mailbox encrypts the transmission of that information according to advanced encryption standard (AES) and transmission is done over the secure socket layer technology (SSL). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. SECURITY
Your information collected through IMiS/mDMS may be stored and processed in Slovenia or any other country in which we or our affiliates operate. In order to provide the service to you, we may transfer personal information to affiliated entities or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from laws of countries mentioned above, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which we or our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.
In the event that any information is compromised as a result of a breach of security under our control, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and notify those individuals affected.

CHILDREN
IMiS/mDMS is not directed to persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account. LINKS TO OTHER SERVICES AND SITES
Sometimes, links to other websites or services will appear in IMiS/mDMS, like in emails you receive from third parties. You agree we don’t have any control over third-party sites or services, we are not responsible for them, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect the changes in our business and practices, and so you should review this page periodically.
